Nord Master Plus - Research School

Are you a 1st semester master's student at Nord University and curious about what career path in academia looks like?

The program runs from February to November 2026

Nord Master Plus is Nord University’s research school for master’s students. The program is designed for students who are motivated, have the academic capacity to go beyond regular studies, and can demonstrate strong academic results.

The program runs from February to November and includes three joint gatherings. It also includes a free trip to a foreign university (a SEA-EU partner). The connection to a research project and the joint gatherings can be highly beneficial for further studies, providing solid preparation for the master’s thesis and for future professional life.

After the deadline has passed, your faculty will invite the selected candidates for an interview. During the interview, the faculty will also assess which research projects that may be most relevant for you and your areas of interest.

If you are selected, you will get more information about relevant research projects.

In the last stage, you will sign an agreement to participate in the programme.

If there are any questions in connection with the application and online form, you can send an email to tor.e.aaneland@nord.no.
