A candidate who has completed the education has the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:
Knowledge:
The candidate
- has substantial pedagogical and didactical knowledge related to category B driver education
- has a wide knowledge of a Driving Schools` purpose, mandate, room for action and importance in society
- has knowledge of relevant Research and Development (R & D) work regarding driver education
Skills:
The candidate
- is able to create a positive learning environment for the individual learner driver, as well as contribute to good relationships with and between learner drivers with different social and cultural backgrounds
- is able to carry out independent professional ethical analyzes and assessments in relation to both personal and professional development
- is able to assess and develop own practice and contribute to collegial renewal, both academically, didactically and organizationally
- is able to plan, justify, implement and assess student-tailored driver education in accordance with current regulations, curricula and legislation
General competence:
The candidate
- lays a wide competence as basis for his or her work as a Driving Instructor
- has developed a substantial awareness of professional ethics and solid assessment skills
- has the ability to consider Driving Schools and driver education in an overall social and cultural perspective
- has developed basic skills and competence as a foundation for developing driver training and driving schools for the future
