The candidate
- has advanced practical knowledge and specialized insight within their field of specialised nursing, with a background in both medical and human sciences
- can apply new knowledge within the chosen specialisation in specialist nursing, based on knowledge of professional development
Skills
The candidate
- can master practical skills and can make independent assessments in both routine and emergency situations
- can analyse existing theories and working methods and work independently with practical and theoretical problem solutions
- can understand, search for, critically assess and apply relevant research methods and research in professional development work in the specialised nursing field
General competence
The candidate
- can apply new knowledge and skills to carry out advanced tasks in specialist nursing practice
- can communicate extensive independent work and master the subject area's forms of expression in specialist nursing practice and professional development
- can identify and communicate issues in specialist nursing and argue based on knowledge in the field
- can analyse relevant subjects and research ethical issues, as well as apply relevant problem solving processes
can contribute to new thinking and professional development projects that are relevant for professional practice and development of the specialist nursing profession
