- has broad knowledge of central topics, theories, issues, processes, tools, and methods within business economics, administration and management, social economics, and methodological subjects
- is familiar with key topics within ethics, philosophy, and legal methodology
- has knowledge of the history and traditions within business and management
- holds advanced breadth and in-depth knowledge in the field of business economics
- has in-depth knowledge of scientific theories, concepts, and models within subjects change management, strategic analysis, and valuation and profitability analysis
- possesses specialized knowledge within a self-defined limited major: finance, management control, international marketing, or innovation and entrepreneurship
- has insight in relevant and contemporary international research literature and applies this to new phenomena and issues within the field of business administration
- has knowledge of relevant analytical tools and techniques to solve business ethical issues with ethical values
- holds advanced knowledge of business research traditions and methodology, and in-depth knowledge of research ethical norms
- possesses specialized knowledge of methods, techniques, and acceptable progression to carry out and disseminate an independent empirical research project
