Bodø is a modern university city just north of the Arctic Circle. That means midnight sun (24-hour daylight from 2 June to 10 July) and big nature energy, all super close.
You can go from cafés and campus life to coastal hikes, beaches, islands and mountain viewpoints in no time. And yes: Saltstraumen is here. One of Norway’s most iconic natural attractions. On clear days, you might even spot Lofoten in the distance.
Find inspiration on Visitbodo.com and explore the City map of Bodø (Google maps).
Participants cover their own travel, accommodation and living expenses.
For the full cost details, open your course page (click the relevant course in the list above).
Spots are limited – first come, first served. The application deadline is May 1, 2026. To apply, open the course you’re interested in and sign up from that course page.
Documentation requirements
In your application, you must provide documentation in English confirming that you are enrolled at either a SEA‑EU Alliance university or another partner institution with an exchange agreement with Nord University (for example, a signed confirmation of enrolment).
