On Saturday 21 March, the Marcialonga ski race will be held, with a public fanzone in the forest near Nord University.

There will be activities, competitions, DJ, pyro and great atmosphere.

Program:

10:00: Fanzone opens and opening music by DJ novak
10:15: The golden egg hunt starts (competition)
10:55: Preparations and cheering for the first ski sprint
11:30: Student sprint (competition)
12:00: The skiers pass the fanzone for the second time

What is Marcialonga Arctic?

The ski run is part of the Ski Classics Pro Tour, with the world's long-distance elite on the starting line. The start and finish is at Bestemorenga, while the elite finish at the spectacular Junkerfjellet. The track meanders through Bodømarka, and is designed to be accessible to everyone - from the ordinary skiing enthusiast to the elite athlete.

The new ski classic from Bodø will be broadcasted live in 18 countries, and in 2025 the race had over one million viewers in Norway and Sweden alone.
